CT group home caregivers rally ahead of Wednesday strike

Did you hear what happened in Connecticut? Home caregivers who are part of a union went on strike in a fight for better wages. According to Connecticut Public Radio’s Chris Polansky, caregivers at 6 agencies were fighting for pay increases and health care coverage.

The union budget demand would provide a pathway to $25 an hour wages and affordable health coverage for his members
